The Wandering Monk, also known as Bala Sivakumar grew up in India, but now lives in Seattle in the United States.

About me:
I don't believe I truly saw until I held a camera in my hand.

I am drawn to bright, bold and dramatic landscapes - obvious in my photos. My goal is to convey the grandiosity of nature to the viewers of my photographs, pulling them into the scene. I love to travel (who doesn't) and photography is a great excuse to do it. "The Wandering Monk" conveys the wanderlust in me and my love for the serene, pristine beauty of nature.

I manually print each order on exquisite Hahnemüle Fine-art Photo Rag.
(choice of Baryta/Pearl/Satin paper made uniquely for each photo)

Prints are done on high-end inkjet printers (offering better color and control than commercial labs) for a vivid and fine-tonal reproduction. Additional paper/printing choices available on request.
